Relevant Experience
Steve is a Construction and Resources specialist with 20 Years broking & underwriting experience gained in the Perth market.

He started his career in underwriting and development roles with for MLC and Zurich between 1984 and 1994 before moving into direct client service with GIO Australia. After two years with GIO he moved to the broking side of the business with Dry Shand and handled a book of commercial and clients there until 2000.

Steve then relocated to Karratha for three years and worked as a client service representative for the large power firm Agrekko, a position which saw him traveling to mine sites and resource developments through out the north west.

In 2002 he returned to Perth and was appointed Account Executive and subsequently Account Director with international broker Willis. In this capacity he handled a large number of corporate and resource accounts including the WA Operations of BHPB amongst others
