Relevant Experience
Steve has almost 30 Years experience in underwriting, broking, and risk management.

His commercial insurance career began in underwriting with Norwich Winterthur, subsequently turning to broking which included several years in the Energy, Resources & Construction division of international firm JLT, where he was involved with a variety of diverse accounts including Bond Corporation and Multiplex.

In 1990 Steve joined Heath Broking, since then handing a variety of Energy, Mining and Corporate clients including companies such as Alcoa, Tap Oil, and Premier, as well as large construction concerns including McDermotts and Technip. He also had responsibility for a broader portfolio of various resource related business including the Australian Drilling Industry Association membership.

Steve was appointed General Manager of Heath Lambert's Western Australian operations in 2000, a position he held until leaving to help form SBA in 2003. Current accounts include many of the foundation customers of SBA who elected to follow Steve to the new firm as well as a large number of our more recent appointments
